The Association shall be non-profit making organization and non-partisan in political and religious matters.
There shall be both Membership and Associate Membership of the Association.

Membership shall be open to Town Unions of Anambra State origin, by whatever name called.

There shall also be founding members, comprising designated citizens of Anambra State who founded the Association and recognized and recorded as founding fathers.

Each Town Union shall be represented by two persons duly accredited. The Association must be notified, in writing, by any Town Union of any change in its representation.

Factions in Town Unions Where for any reason, there are two factions of a Town Union in Lagos, the membership of the Town Union shall be suspended, and both factions barred from attending meetings or participating in the activities of the Association until peace returns to the Town Union and the Association is so informed in writing. Their case shall be referred to Membership Committee for settlement of the disagreement.

The Executive Committee shall at its discretion, co-opt any member of the Association into the Committee, on ad-hoc basis)
Each officer shall discharge with due diligence the functions usually exercised by the holder of such office.
